dali and cake

there is a salvador dali exhibition currently on at the kunsthalle which we visited on sunday. he's such a fascinating character and i love the picture of him on the exhibition poster. i expected there to be more works by dali himself but the exhibition is more focused on his influence on some present day artists. nevertheless, it was interesting and i discovered that dali was asked to work by hitchcock on his film spellbound (which is now on my list of films to watch!).

afterwards we went to a traditional cafe called cafe griensteidl for afternoon cake. YUM.
