budapest (part 1)

the perfect birthday which started with champagne on the train with friends to budapest and ended with steak 'hungarian style' and a night stroll along the danube taking in all the beautifully lit up buildings.

we did have a few little mishaps.... like the hungarian train conductor refusing to accept our train tickets (which we purchased online) and forcing us to buy tickets again (or face getting off the train), and kev taking us across the city to the wrong office address to collect our apartment keys so when we got there it was an empty office and the phone number was disconnected... but it all adds to the fun!
